Pencils For Your Pocket

Posted by Picasa
Here we have a nice set of pencils that can go in your pocket. I do like drafting pencils for every day writing but I do not like the sleeve sticking out. So I have added some that do not stick me. On the left is the Staedtler 925 25-20, Uni Shift.05, Promecha 1007, Tombow LOOM 505sh, BelBol.05, Pilot.05 which I believe is a H-3005, Pentel S55 with blue bottom, Pentel 535, Pentel S57, Pentel P1135, Pentel Sharp Kerry .07 and a Pentel Graph Gear 1000. The pencil that I have had the longest is the Pilot H3005 which I bought in Germany. All work well and are in the daily rotation. add them all to your collection.

  1. Good line up of recommended pocket-safe pencils. Got the very same models on both ends and the red Uni shift myself. Of course, I tend to rely more on pencil cases and seldom stuff them in my pocket.

  3. The Pilot is probably a H-2005 (not 3005), because of the pattern on the grip and because you bought it in Germany (H-3005 only in Japan). That doesn't mean your pencil is less rare, in the opposite I would say. There are more "double knocks" from Pilot (H-2105 = black metal grip, H-2085=wooden grip, ...).

  4. Thanks, I seem to be having a problem with the right model of the pilot. It is a great pencil and I think I bought it in 1984 or 1985.
