More BIC Pens

Here we are with some new BIC pens. These are 1.6mm BIC Cristal pens. You get 25 pens in a reusable plastic coin bank that is in the shape of a BIC pen. These pens are wide, 1.6mm is large for any pen but I have never seen a BIC Cristal this wide. The wide point is very smooth. Some Staples stores in the southwest part of the US have these. These pens come with plastic over the tips just like Jetpens. Been giving some away so if anybody would like to try one e-mail me at moose@hot.rr.com.

Pen Storage Project

Here we have a cabinet that has been sitting around the supply room for some time. This is a part of a early 1900s Satellite Mail Station. When complete this Mail Station was about 5 foot long and about six foot tall. I got it in parts, kept some and got rid of most of it. This mail station was an item you may see in a train station or local general store . I need to clean it up a bit, get the shelves back in place and find a place to put it. I may be using the rippled cardboard to line the shelves for pen/pencil storage. Top shelf is a storage area and the whole thing is in better condition then the picture shows. Another part of this cabinet is pictured on my 30 November 100th post. The wood shelf with the two lamps setting on it. I have two of those.Posted by Picasa

Pentel Tradios and Friends

Here we have my Pentel Tradio collection. I like pens and pencils in sets of ten so here is a set of ten. First three on the left are the orginal Tradios with the nylon and rollerball refills. Then you have the silver color pen with the .05mm pencil. Last five are the new Tradios from JetPens. I believe these are the French made ones. On the right are the orginal EnerGels in fine point, the EnerGel all metal pen and the new Pentel K611 Roller in white. This may be the first time you have seen the new K611 Roller. These EnerGels are listed because they all use the same refills as the new Tradios from JetPens. These Tradios are very nice pens that I have used for sometime but these new colors with EnerGel refills are great. As long as you have one of the new Tradios then you can interchange refills with the older Tradios. Add them all to your collection.

Stuff From Pencils 11

Well, all but the Pentel 803 at the bottom came from Pencils 11. Some I bought and others were gifts. The pink and yellow Pentel pop'n pop .05mm pencils I found interesting. Very small pencils. Model Q605, they have the original green erasers with the pin to clear broken lead. Next is one of those lost Pentel sideclickers found down in Mexico. On the right is a Bel Bol clear green 2mm pencil. This has turned out to be one of my favorite writing pencils. At the bottom is my new Pentel Super Multi 8 PH 803 out of its box. Thanks Germ.Posted by Picasa
