Pentel Quicker Clicker

These pencils started in the 70s and are still going strong today.  On the top row starting on the left are the originals. No rubber grips on this row. The originals are highly prized and seem to be one of Pentels most collectable pencils. There  may be one or two missing from this top row.

Here we have the smooth rubber grip pencils. Missing solid color black 0.5mm, blue solid color 0.7mm and a red solid color 0.9mm.

Rubber finger print grip. Again I may be missing a solid color with finger print grip in size 0.7 and 0.9 mm.

These are PD335s and I am missing many different colors.

This is a side clicker from the late 70s. This pencil is PD1065 and called a Pentel Technica.  A nice addition to the collection but it sat on the shelf to long. The side clicker does not work properly. This pencil came in black and orange. Add all of these pencils to your collection. Plenty of new Pentels still to post. Anyone with a Quicker Clicker that I am missing? I am always up for a trade.

The Smaller Pentel

Here we have some new and old Pentel pencils. Starting on the left we have a 0.3mm PS513. Next is a ML-7 followed by a Pentel 555. ML-5 in black is next. Then we have a Pentel ML-5 with the wheat design. A Pentel 5 with the orange ring. A green PS-45 and a PS-35. Last is a Disney 0.5mm pencil followed by a Pentel 5. The pencils that I am most happy with is the red barrel ML-7 and the orange ring Pentel ML-5.

All these are around 5 1/4 " long and fit just fine in your shirt pocket.

The orange Pentel 5 is a  hard to get pencil and I do not know why the orange ring. There is one on ebay with a lime green ring. Add them all to your collection.

New Blackwing Pencils

Just got these all black Blackwings in the mail today. I already see that the price has doubled on eBay. These are called Vol. 24 and they pay tribute to Pulitzer Prize winning author John Steinbeck.

The all black color does stand out.  These pencils sell out quick. Add them to your collection.

Thanks For The Lindys

A good friend of mine on the west coast sold me their Lindy pen collection. It will take some time to go through all these pens but there are a few that stick put.

Starting with the regular size pink Lindy which if you look close you will see that this pen was put on the machine to print the Lindy logo and they just let it run. There is a nice gold Lindy, and a clear full size blue Lindy. Next is another blue and a orange. All of these will be working very soon. The plastic bag is full of lead, erasers and some Lindy Short Shorty. There is also a few Scripto K780s.

There are some in this collection that I did not have. There are a few that have printed down the side that say that they are free give-a-way. Did not have any of those.

Add them to your collection.

Pentels From germ

Anybody who is a reader of stationary blogs remembers germ. He could get almost any pencil and always had a good collection of Pentels on hand to sell. He got out of blogging sometime back and he was missed. Last week he emailed me and let me no that he had bought a small collection of Pentels. These are the ones I got. Starting on the left are two P300 0.7mm pencils. From the late 70s. There was a matching pen to go with the pencil. Next is a set of three A115s, SHARPentels. They look like Sharplets which is a pencil that I currently do not collect. These pencils have a hole near the point so you can see the lead.  Next is a Pentel PD515 JETCLIC. This one is going in my Quicker Clicker collection. Last is a P125 in brown. I have a few of these but not the brown. Germ has more of these on eBay so go and get you a Pentel P125. Add all these great pencils to your collection. It is great to have germ back where he belongs. Thanks germ!!!

Rotring Core

Here is where we stand today. My list shows the Rubidium, red and grey cap with a metallic barrel as the only one I am missing however I do not have any documentation to show what was made. Nine total seems a bit short. Should have been ten. Anybody with any info on these great pens please let me know. Add them all to your collection.

Old Pentels

Here we have my two additions to the Pentel collection. On the left is the Pentel Injecto pencil. This pencil uses a replaceable cartridge which holds the lead.  A high end "Drop Dock". There is a cartridge in the pencil and I have one extra. The Injecto uses 0.4mm lead. Next is the PS1045  0.5mm pencil. Thinner then most but I was surprised at how well it fits in your hand. It seems to me Pentel was trying this PS1045 out to see if it was a hit. I guess it wasn't because then Pentel came out with the larger PS35 type pencils. I still consider the PS1045 to be a great find for the collection.

The Injecto has a clear window right below the end of the pocket clip so you can see how much lead is left. All the pencils in this picture have good grips. If you can find them add them all to your collection.

Animal Pens

Running a humane society is hard work but as long as you have your animal friendly pens and pencils the work will get done.  Top left is the Retro 51 Nine Lives pen, next are the two Acme dog and cat pens, last is the Sherpa dog and cat pen. Bottom is the dog and cat pen from Barnes and Noble. Add them all to your collection and Adopt from your local shelter.

New BICs Again

It was a real surprise today when I checked the mail and found a package from England. Inside the package was a collection of BIC 4 Ways that I did not have. Here we have nine new 4 Ways for the collection.

The BIC 4 ways came in these nice large BIC 4 way display cases. Each large BIC holds nine BIC 4 Way pens.

Some of these are key BIC 4 ways including the metallic gold and the four set of Star Wars BIC 4 Ways.

Here are three BIC Smart-Tip stylus tip pens. You start with this nice plastic case that contains a orange fine point pen and a replaceable bottom barrel that has a stylus on the end. Yes you can still use the pen with the stylus tip barrel. Adding these three we get a total of 12 new BICs for the collection.

I was so surprised to see these sets and I do not think they will be in your local Office Depot. If you can find one add it to your collection and to my friends in England thank you for the pens.

Scripto Counter Top Display

Here is a nice complete counter top display of Scripto K780 pencils. The display is from the 50s and not in the best of shape. The pencils have rusted around the pocket clips and some of the card board is wearing off. On the plus side the display is complete, While the pencils do not work they do show the rich dark colors that Scripto used in the 50s and early 60s. All these pencils have "Scripto" printed on the side of the pencil. This is a small display just coming in at 5"x 81/2". Add one to your collection.
