I was a little behind on keeping up with the Spoke pencils. I have a 4 and 5 at the top and two Spoke 3s in red and silver on the bottom. These are 0.7mm. I am waiting for the new Spoke pen on Kickstarter which should hit the street in the next few weeks. Add them all to your collection.
Actually, the two at the bottom are either Spoke 1 or 2 dot. The red one appears to have 2 dots at the top of the right face (from the top face laying down), and the silver one appears to have the same size spoke, so it too, is probably a Spoke 2 dot. Aside from the number of dots, the difference between the Spoke 1 dot and 2 dot is the slots are narrower on the Spoke 2 dot.
ReplyDeleteThe Spoke 3 was the first round Spoke pencil (as opposed to hexagonal) and was only available in Titanium. Due to the issues Brian had with milling the titanium, it was limited to only 100 pencils.
You can see them all side-by-side on my blog post: https://nimrodd.net/2018/10/14/custom-pentel-p205-pencils/
Thank Jimmy, I was thinking that I may be off. I waited to long and missed out on some of the pencils. For those who do not know it Jimmy is the expert when it comes to Pentel P200 pencils and others like the Spoke which uses insides of a Pentel. Visit him at nimrodd.net.
