Translucent Pens and Pencils
I have always liked the translucent or if you like, the clear pens and pencils. In the 50s and 60s when stores still had cardboard counter pen displays, many of the companies would also provide a clear pen for the salesman to use as a demonstrator. Sadly those days are gone but clear pens and pencils are still around and still being made. On the left are five Cross Solo pens, then a Parker Jotter in clear purple and four Sheaffer ballpoints with clear barrels. Middle tray has the Safari Vista set of four which includes fountain pen, roller, .05mm pencil and ballpoint. Next is the Pentel S55 with the clear blue barrel and five original Pentel sideclickers. On the right is five Scripto K780s pencils and five Wearever Trans-Vues pencils. I do like clear. Add them all to your collection.

I'm the same way about clear items. Not only do they look cool, but you can see how much ink/lead you have remaining in a lot of cases. I love the K780 pencil, it has a timeless design and some very cool colors.
