Another Storage Stand
Here we are testing another way to store carded pens and pencils down in the supply room. I picked up this one from a German store that was closing. It was free to a good home. There are four sides and they are removable. I only have three side rack on at this time. Carded items need to be at least 3" wide and you could put them 6 deep. I will have to test it. May be a good place for carded old school supplies that I currently place in boxes. Add this to your collection, maybe, if needed and you have the space.

More Scriptomatics
No you are not seeing double. I picked up another complete 1950s Scripto Scriptomatic counter display. I posted my first set back on 30 September 2009. This new one was being given away, had to jump. These were nice cheap scripto ball points that went for .39 cents. All these will still work with a new refill. As it stated on the back of the display, non-smearing, permanent writing, light-weight, gay colors, slim styling and economical. Who can argue with that. Add them all to your collection.

Pentel Graphgear 1000
Because we are down in the basement of the supply room most of the time, we do miss out on things. Lets take the upgrade of the Pentel Graphgear 1000 pocket clip. I have both, both are still sold but I just did not catch it. I guess this means we now have two versions of this great pencil. When did this happen? I never did have a problem with the old one but now you need both to keep your collection up to date.

JetPens Order Plus
Here is my latest JetPens order plus. On the left are three new erasers. Both the Boxy and new Pentel Aim in black. The Boxy works best. Then some new Pentel lead in HB, 0.7mm. Third is a Sun-Star adjustable grip pencil. Interesting but the pencil is to big. Next is the Pilot Dieiful Double Knock Pencil. These are nice pencils and I like the new colors. Pentel Slicci in an new color and design with refills. Last is a pack of Pentel RSVP in fine point from Derek over at Derek's Pens and Pencils, Thanks. Add them all to your collection.

Pentel Clicroller Collection
Here we have my collection of Pentel Clicrollers. I have always liked these pens and they all write well but Pentel no longer makes the refills. Most are from the 80s and early 90s. On the left is the cheapest of the bunch the RC5, next is the navy blue RC16, and the chrome and black RC20. Then we have three RC26s, two in black and one in white. The Olympic RC30 is next and three black and gold RC36s. They all use the metal CFL6 refill or the plastic CFL51 refill. You can still find them on EBay. There may be more models out there so we will continue to look. Add them all to your collection.
I have added "The best songs from the 50s and early 60s" and moved "Top Five Pens" and "Top Five Scripto Pencils" to the bottom of the blog. I will update as we go along.

New Pentels
Here we have some new pentels for the collection and daily rotation. On the left are two Technica-Xs. Old news for many of you but I did not have any. I do like the retractable point. Then we have a Graphgear 1009. Needed this because it is harder for me to see the lead on these fine point pencils. Next is a pentel A-10 J-Club 0.5mm pencil. This one I have not seen and it is nice. This A-10 goes good with the RX-15 roller (to the right of the A-10) or the older RG10 roller. This A-10 is more of a dress shirt type pencil similar to but larger then the old SG7, PX7-21 or the P1007 pentel pencils. It does not have a sliding sleeve but fits good in the shirt pocket and does not shake or rattle. Add them all to your collection.

More New And Old Supplies
Here are some items that came in this past week. On the left we have a Sheaffer Ball Point and Fountain Pen set in white. Next is one of those great Sheaffer ball point pens carded with those smiling faces. Then we have a pack of two Pentel Gizmo pencils. Now for are only new item. A Pilot 15th Anniversary Dr. Grip .05 shaker pencil. This pencil has ants and what appears to be ant tunnels all over it. This is a great pencil and has no pocket clip. Last on the right is a Automatic pencil model 75-10 by the Eagle Pencil Company. This pencil is about 60 years old and works great. It uses 1.1mm lead and a scripto K780 eraser. Add all these pens and pencils to your collection.

Secretaries Secret To Neatness
These erasers are an outstanding example of office supplies from days past. Those of you who used a typewriter remember these Secrets To Neatness. All except the two on the right are made by Pedigree which was owned by the Empire Pencil Company in Shelbyville Tennessee. The one with the flowers second from the right is made by Eberhard Faber in Pennsylvania. The loose one on the far right is a current pencil eraser from China. If you can find these, add them to your collection. The ones from the 60s and 70s still on their cards are getting harder to find.

New Storage Box
I have shown these scripto pens before but they are in a new storage box that was given to me last week. This plastic box would have a football or some other big item for display. The box makes for a nice dust free container for some of my stuff. Add one for your collection.

New Scripto Pens
Here we have some new scripto pens. Scripto gave up on pens and pencils some years ago but here they are with new ones again. Through some kind of business agreement between the scripto name and a company called leedsworld, new pens and notebooks are being made. You can see all the new scripto products at www.leedsworld.com/scripto/. I only have these two examples of their new pens. On the left are two pens called fatboys and the three on the right are called Sketch Clicks. Rubber grips and bright colors are the order of the day. I have a large scripto pen collection and it is hard to find refills for many of the ball points from the 50s and 60s. These new pens are different, they all use the Parker Jotter refills. These two pens came from Ebay. Add them all to your collection.

More Trans-Vue Pencils
Here we have my newest addition to the old counter displays from the the past. This is my second Wearever Trans-Vue cardboard counter display with some of the pencils. These are solid color Trans-Vue pencils. I prefer the clear ones that I have posted before but I could not past up this nice cardboard display. Somebody posted a .49 cent sticker over the original price of .29 cents and there is a new sticker that stated Trans-Vue mechanical pencil under the name Wearever. The scripto company listed their clear pencil as a K780 and the solid colored pencil as a K770. More research will be needed to find out if Wearever did the same or lumped all the pencils as Trans-Vue. The stand holds 24 pencils and I only have 10 so I still have some work to do. Add them all to your collection.

Translucent Pens and Pencils
I have always liked the translucent or if you like, the clear pens and pencils. In the 50s and 60s when stores still had cardboard counter pen displays, many of the companies would also provide a clear pen for the salesman to use as a demonstrator. Sadly those days are gone but clear pens and pencils are still around and still being made. On the left are five Cross Solo pens, then a Parker Jotter in clear purple and four Sheaffer ballpoints with clear barrels. Middle tray has the Safari Vista set of four which includes fountain pen, roller, .05mm pencil and ballpoint. Next is the Pentel S55 with the clear blue barrel and five original Pentel sideclickers. On the right is five Scripto K780s pencils and five Wearever Trans-Vues pencils. I do like clear. Add them all to your collection.

Hallmark Pen Update
I have posted these Hallmark pens and pencils before but I just got my adapter so that cross type refills will work in the ball point pens. If you need one just call Hallmark at 1-800-425-5627 and get yourself to a customer assistance person and you can get an adapter mailed to you. You will get the little plastic adapter and a instruction sheet. These are great pens and pencils so add them all to your collection.
