Here we have two versions of the Scripto T210 Ball Point Pen. I have seen them listed under different names and as always with Scripto there is confusion as to how many different models were made and when. That has always been the appeal of collecting Scripto. This pen is from the 50s. In the picture there are two types shown. On the left is the older model which has a small metal lip on top of the pocket clip to retract the point. The five pens on the right have the upgrade to the red button. They go by names like Super Dollar and Push Button Ball pen. These colors reflex the 50s and the blue two tone is the only one that currently works. Some were used for advertising and others were matched with a P360 pencil. There are other models out there like the Prestige which I do not have yet.

Pentel Roller Ball Pens
Since I added the 24K gold Pentel Roller to my collection it is about time I show how it fits in the collection. These are all Pentel and range from the mid 70s to the 90s. Starting on the left you have three types of R-3s, black, green, blue and red R-4s, gold R-6, three R-7s. Next is the sterling silver and 24K gold rollers, two Lancelot's ( one being the 25th Anniversary pen), five Excalibur's and a SP300. I consider these pens to be one of my best collections.

Scripto Escort Ball Pen
Here we have a nice counter display of Scripto Escort pens. Late 60s maybe early 70s. The Escort pen was a model T550, gold one on the end is a T550G. On the right of the display is a Escort pen T550 and pencil P580 set in red and a Gold Escort model P580G pencil. None of the pens currently work. Refills for the older Scripto pens can not be found. This is one of the reasons why collecting Scripto pencils has always been more popular. I will be showing more of my Scripto pen collection in future posts to include those that do still write.

Pentel 24K Gold Roller Ball
Back on 31 Oct 2009 I posted the 25th Anniversary Pentel Sterling Silver Roller Ball pen, pictured at the bottom. Now I get to post the 24K Gold Roller Ball. The silver one was handed out during the 25th Anniversary of Pentel USA in 1990. I have to guess that the gold one was given out at the same time. The gold roller has no paperwork but is the same design as the silver one. All use the #MG8 refill. Nice addition to my growing Pentel Roller Ball collection.
