New Pen Storage Cabinet

Posted by Picasa
As I have said before we are always looking for better ways to store and display the pens and pencils down in the supply room. Here is one big and heavy cabinet. Many of you have seen these before. One of our national office supply stores kept their expensive pens in this rotating cabinet. Those days are gone and so are the cabinets. It took three of us to move it to my garage. This cabinet has three lockable shelves in the back. It has a motor so the wheel rotates when the red button in front is pushed and it has a small light in each corner. I am not going to say add one to your collection because I may not be able to keep this one. I just found out I will not be able to keep it. I will remove the good parts.

60s Sheaffer Ball Point Pens

Posted by Picasa
Here is a nice set of 11 Sheaffer ball point pens from the early 60s. They are in their original box. You would push the bottom part of the pocket clip in to extend the point and push the top of the pocket clip to retract. Today's standard Sheaffer refills fit these pen so soon they will be working. The blue one already does and works fine. Add them all to your collection.

Another Wearever Trans-Vue and Give-Away

Posted by Picasa
Just added a blue Trans-Vue to the collection. Front on the left. I have never seen one before but here it is. This counter display holds 12 pencils but I have 13. The only thing I can think of to do is give one away. The orange one on the right. These pencils are almost 50 years old, use 1.1mm lead and are a great pencil from our past to add to your collection. It still works and can be used daily. As with all these old Wearevers and Scriptos pencils it is recommended that you do not use the eraser. They are hard to fine and for show only but the pencil works fine. Leave a comment by Sunday, June 13th and own a piece of our pencil and pen history.

More Stuff

Lets start on the left with the outstanding 1984 Pentel catalog. I will be showing pages from the catalog in the future. It is a must have for Pentel collectors. The green pen on the catalog is a all metal Pentel multi pen with .05, red ink and black. It will take Sharbo refills. Have never seen one of these before. Made for and sold through Burberrys of London. All instructions are in Japaneses only. In the middle top is a new Parker Jotter in off yellow and a new Parker Vector roller. Middle bottom a Mitsubishi roller and to the right is a Pentel roller RXT 20 Excalibur, both older pens. Right side is my newest Jetpens order which includes a Campus notebook, Uni-ball Alpha Gel Kuru Toga pencil and the Tombow Zoom 505shA .05 Pencil in brown. All nice but the Tombow is outstanding. Add them all to your collection.
