Here we have the Parker Jotter. Don't hear much about this pen yet the Jotter has been around since 1954 and is one of the best selling pens in the world. These pens in the picture are all current models. I just like the colors. The number four purple Jotter is the only one with any history. It is a 50th Anniversary issue, it has no feathers on the arrow pocket clip and has a 50 on the top of the push button. You can now buy refills with gel ink and in many knew colors. Parker Jotter should be in your collection.
I've never seen so many colors. The jotter is a classic and a good strong pen. Nr
ReplyDeleteThey are nice. There are more colors out there but I try to keep these small collections in sets of 10.
ReplyDeleteThese were fairly popular in Peru. I still have one of them stashed somewhere.
ReplyDeleteThis is my go-to pen. I have a drawer full with gel rink refills. You don't have to use Parker brand refills, either--there's a gel ink brand called Itoya that work extremely well.
ReplyDeletehave the purple Jotter pencil? daddy wants....
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of Parkers and love their magical CLICK, CLICK, CLICK! The 50th anniversary Parker is nice but inside, it's so much a product of our time. It has plastic threads on one end and rolled metal on the other. My Parker T-ball Jotters from high school (1960's) have fine threads on the barrel and machined brass on the cap. It also says Made in the USA on the back. Those were the days my friends.
ReplyDeleteYou are correct. They have been a great pen and I also like the older ones better. I now have 22 different body colors.
