Another Sterling Plastic Pencil Case

Posted by Picasa
I never fail to be surprised when I find another Sterling Plastic Pencil Case that I have never seen before. This is a real nice model number #530 pencil case. This one would hold a 6" ruler, sharpener and some pencils. The sharpener is Sterling Plastic and came with the case. This one could be used today. I am currently on the trail of another Sterling Plastic case that I do not have in my collection. Add them all to your collection.

Update on the BIC pen give away. It looks like everybody who emailed me will be getting their pen soon so keep checking your mail box.

Lindy Utility Marker

Posted by Picasa
Here we have two Lindy Utility Markers still on their cards from the 60s. Even if the cap is lost they would still write or so the card states. These pens came in at least 12 colors and they were great pens. Lindy pens are some of the most viewed posts here in the supply room and for good reason, they were great pens. Add then all to your collection.

My New Pentel P205s

Posted by Picasa
Sometimes we just jump in and buy something as soon as we see them and here is what I bought. Six new Pentel P205s. Purple, green, red, pink, white and blue. I added a Graph 1000 in purple and on the right I added a blue Tradio so we can see they are using the same metallic colors for all of these. I picked up my first Pentel P205 in the mid 70s while in Germany and these new colors will start it all over again with a flood of new users. Great colors on a great pencil. The price should come down and I am sure JetPens will jump on these. Add them all to your collection.

Back To the 60s and 70s

I do enjoy going back to the 60s and 70s and down here in the supply room we have many things from that period. Here we have part of my collection of my favorite aftershave and colognes from the 60s and 70s. In those days lime fragrance was very popular. Not so in 2012. It is very hard to find any on the market today and what I have found just is not the same. Here we have three of my best ones. On the left is a 1970s Avon Super Cycle Island Lime Aftershave just opened yesterday. Next is one of the best, Aqua Velva Frost Lime Aftershave and last is a just opened 1960s or early 70s Old Spice Fresh Lime Cologne. Good stuff so add them all to your collection.

New 2mm Pencil

Posted by Picasa
Just about have all the 2mm pencils a non drafting person should need but I ran across this nice green plastic Dixon Ticonderoga Headliner 2mm pencil. Never seen one before but this one is nice. The cap comes off and covers the point. It has a small eraser and the cap has a sharpener in it. A good 2mm pencil for someone who does not need one all the time. Add one to your collection.

2 Headed BIC

Posted by Picasa
Since BIC pens have been around for some time I try to keep an eye open for modifications to the basic pens. Here is one of those. I would think that it was made for spinning but it does work as a pen and is very light. I guess that over the years people have come up with many ways to modify their BIC pens. Add one to your collection.

1971 Papermate Rolli Bolli

Posted by Picasa
Here we have a never used 1971 Papermate Rolli Bolli. I have been looking for some time for one of these. They have been on ebay and some other places I check but not in orange. The orange and black ball is nice and rolls back and forth when you put the pen in it but the key item is the pen. A perfect condition orange Malibu Papermate pen. Sometimes called a 98 or a piggy back pen. I have some in my collection but not in this color. All the older papermate pens like Malibu, Contour and the Profile all use the same refill. Makes it real easy to get these great pens working. Add them all to your collection. If you must have one there are two currently on EBay as of 7 Feb.
