Supplies From Down Under

Posted by Picasa
I want to thank Dora from Australia who sent me this nice package of BIC pencils and Staedtler colored ball point stick pens model 432s. These pens are in the traditional three sided shape and are nice. Never seen them before. Two of the packages of BIC pencils are made in Australia with the third package made in France. All great additions to the ever growing collection. Thanks Dora.

New Pentel Pencils

Here we have two new pentel pencils. First is the white A811. The roller is a pentel K611 and the ball point is a B810. The pencil has a sliding sleeve and does well in your pocket. On the right is the pentel S477. All metal except for the blue ring showing it is a 0.7mm. I wish pentel would make more all metal pens and pencils. Add them all to your collection.

More Good Stuff

Here we have two packages worth of new items from Ricardo. For the past year Ricardo and I have been exchanging some pens and pencils. My second package to him is still being put together but I just got his so I though I would post it. Have not even been able to go through it all but I do like the gold and silver plastic BIC pens at the bottom. Great additions to the collection. Add all of this to your collection. Thanks Ricardo.

K-Mart Stapler

Here is a nice old K-Mart stapler with a stapler puller and refills. Early 70s I would think. The cardboard and plastic are not in the best of shape anymore. When I was in K-Mart the other day I looked for store brand office supplies and could not fine any. K-Mart had some good stuff in the old days like the Unisonic calculators with there distinctive blue, silver and orange colors. If you can find any old K-Mart office supplies pick them up and add them to your collection.

More BICs

Here we have two yellow fine point BICs with one still in its original package. Nice additions and they can be refilled. On the right is a real nice BIC package display case that came with two original BIC boxes but could hold four. At the time the BIC pens were .19 cents. The display case has slots on the back and side that appear to allow the plastic stand to be hooked to a larger display. Great additions so get yourself some.

Old Wooden Rulers

Her is my current collection of old wooden rulers. Don't have as many as I should but I have to start somewhere. Staring at the top is a 18" Helix, 15" Amer MFG Concern made in Faconer, NY with plenty of advertising on it. 15" Westcott, 12" Westcott Typist Ruler, 12" no name but made in the US of AM, another 12" Westcott and at the bottom is a 12" K&E Co Star Quality 3 sided ruler. Just today I picked up a wooden 12" ruler and a metal 12" ruler, both Westcotts from K-Mart today. Both were made in China. A few of these old US made wooden rulers should be in your collection because we do not make them anymore. It is sad.

More Pentel Rollers

Here is the rest of my Pentel Roller Collection. There are some new additions. The first 10 pens starting on the left are all Excalibur's. As you can see there is no end to the different styles of Pentel Excaliburs. These ten Excaliburs cover a period from the mid 70s to late 90s. Next is a set of three Ceramicron SR-10s. One is a 0.2,0.3 and a 0.4. Next is the Ceramicron SR-51. Then comes the two newer R-4s in Blue and Black followed by a new type R-3 from the Disney collection. The green one is a SR-305. Three R400 Lancelots. Next is a old Pentel sign pen. We next have a JF-600 fountain pen and last is a current issue Pentel Line Style pen. Add them all to your collection and Happy New Year.
