Newman Pencils

Had these for some time so I though I would run them past you again. Japanese made Newman pencils are well made with nice designs. They do resemble Pilots, Pentels and Tombows. The long Newman pencil is my favorite and some of their pencils do have a very interesting long slanted point that you don't see with other brands. I believe they were making pencils from the 60s to the 90s.  Add them all to your collection.

  1. Pretty nice collections pieces. That is one Japanese brands I was not familiar with. Perhaps they felt at the time that long slanted point covers prevented lead breakage or maybe they were just trying to make the pencils more more template friendly

  2. Template work comes to mind. The long one gets daily use.

  3. Newman seem to be cool, from my experience. Tombow not so much
