Papermate 98 Pen

Just added four new old Papermate 98 Pens to the collection. We have the two plastic button pens on the left. Button is just above the pocket clip. The rest all have the metal button. These all work and are in great condition for pens from the 50s and 60s. I like the Holiday better only because the clic mechanism just holds up better. The Name 98 is in fact the price of the pen.  At the time Papermate pens were made in Salinas, Culver City, California and in Puerto Rico. Culver City is also where Lindy pens were made. By 1957 Papermate had sold 40 million 98 pens. By 1970 they had sold 100 million 98 pens. Papermate is one of my  favorite Pen Companies. The colors speak of the 50s and early 60s. Add these great pens to your collection.
