Scripto Ball Point Pens
The next few posts are going to be some new/old items that just showed up here in the supply room. Most of these Scripto pens from the late 50s,60s and early 70s you have seen here before. The new ones, for comparison are the three on the right side in boxes and the one on the right side of the display case. I just got hold of these four Scripto Prestige ball point pens. The Prestige was the expensive one during the 50s and 60s at about $1.69 per pen while the others were about $1.00. On the left side of the display are four different models of the T210. On advertising they were called Super Dollar,Dollar pen or maybe just Push Button pen. The blue two tone is a working T220 from the 70s. What a find. Scripto pencils are still the most collected item because they can be made to work but these scripto pens are starting to catch on because of their looks and the history associated with them. Add some to your collection before the supply room gets them all.
Dear George!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking for ICO ball- point pen for weeks on the internet. Please let me know if you still have any of those on the left side. Actually I could buy the whole pack!!!
Please respond me urgent!!!!
You may be in luck. On the left are 4 types of the T210. Which one are you talking about? The first two one on left I have the most of. It may be better if you just email me at moose@hot.rr.com.
ReplyDeleteDo you know if there any refills available for scripto 200 medium point blue ball point pens???
ReplyDeleteI use the Fisher "1 for all" refills for all the scripto pens in the picture. You can send me a picture of the 200 at moose@hot.rr.com and I will check.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this. I recently got one for myself like the one most to the left of your picture. The green one. and was going crazy trying to find a refill. I want to use the pen, not just store it. I'll try the 1 for all refills
DeleteGreetings from Spain
Always good to hear from Spain. The Fisher 4 N 1 is the only refill I use in the Scriptos. I like you want to use these older pens from the 50s and 60s.
DeletePlease could you help? I have my Grandad's old Scripto ballpoint pen in blue with a red push button. He died 20 years ago but I would like to use the pen as a reminder of him. However I can't get refills and live in the UK. Does anyone know where I can get them please? Thankyou.
ReplyDeleteCan you send me a picture?
ReplyDeleteAlso use my email address which is on the front page.
