Retro 51 Glow In the Dark Collection

Here we have my Retro Glow in the Dark collection. There are 59 regular issue pens plus one proto type. I believe I have them all but I have been proven wrong before. I do know that I am missing some proto types so the search continues.

 These are great pens and they do glow. Add them all to your collection.

Hungarian Scripto T220

For some years I have seen used Scripto T220 type pens from Hungary. These pens are in fact not made by Scripto but were copied in the 70s and apparently are still being used. This is a current retro package of their version of a T220 called a ICO 70.

Here is the Scripto T220 with a P360 matching 0.9mm pencil to go with it. I use the Fisher 4 N 1 refills for these pens.

 Here are some of my collection of older Scripto pens and pencils. On the far right are a few of the older pens from the 50s called Dollar Pens, Super Dollar or just Push Button Pen. There are two demonstrators and the K780s plus a few K21s. K21 was the replacement for the K780. Add them all to your collections.

Rotring 600 Red

About time. Many fans of Rotring pencils have been looking for some color. Well hear is the red Rotring 600 0.7mm pencil. Great addition to my growing Rotring collection.

There are other new colors but the red is all I can find at this point in time. The 600 is to many one of the best all round mechanical pencils out there. Could be. I have always been a Pentel person but I also spent ten years in Germany so I have seen what is on display in small town stationary stores in the 70s and 80s.

Here are have some great other pencils that do red up right. Rotring 600, Pentel GraphGear 1000 and the Spoke. Add them all to your collection.

Lindy Executive Slim-Pak Writing Set

 My love of Lindy Pens go way back. I am proud of my large collection of these great pens but as I discover all the time there was more to the Lindy Pen Company then just pens.

  Here is the Executive Slim-Pak Writing Set. I would think from the late 60s to early 70s. I remember using these plastic brief cases in the Army. First we have the Brief Case made of plastic with the Flexigrip snag resistant zipper.

 Inside is the plastic Executive Portfolio with a paper tablet.

 As you can see this is a blank tablet that when tested I found that this is ball point friendly paper not fountain pen.

Also included is a Lindy 481-M Black Utrractapen. The pen is 6" long. These pens require a Fisher 4 n 1 refill. Add this great set to your collection.

New Gold Parker Jotter

Here on the right is the original Parker Jotter Special edition London sky Blue and the new Gold edition of the same pen. The silver colored Jotter has been layered with pure 24ct gold.

The price has gone up to Eighty plus for this pen. They have layered all four of the Parker Jotters in this series. I am only going to get this one gold pen for the collection.

Collecting Caran d' Ache 849s

These Caran d' Ache pens are fun to collect and are great pens to use. My newest is the Paul Smith and Caran d' Ache collaboration. There is only one pen but there are eight different cases. I picked up the turquoise case.

Scripto Short Shorty

I have had this display for some time but only one pencil. Now I have added five more. The one on the right is clear like the K780 pencil but the five on the left are solid color like a K770. You can search this blog for info on the Scripto K780 and K770. Add them all to your collection.

Pentel M300s and Delguards

 Here are some nice M300 Pentel pencils from the 70s and 80s. Part of the side clicker family. I think this is all the colors.

Delguard special edition pencils. Zebra did a good job with these. Add them all to your collection.

Here we have a very nice pen cabinet that holds 50 pens. This one was less then $80.00.

Retro 51 Joey Feldman CYAN

Did not see these pens coming. They were all sold out at Vanness so I bought the set on Ebay. I like Joey Feldman's art work and best of all these four pens glow in the dark. All four have serial number 70. Only 100 made.

Each pen has it's own art work and all are signed by Joey Feldman.

More Ops N Pops

I have a very large collection of these great Ppapermate Ops N Pops pens. The last two on the bottom right have just been added. You would have seen these pens around 1968 to 1970.

The yellow one in the tube bottom left was used on the TV show Mad Men.

If you see one you should try and add it to your collection.

Jetstream Edge

These are great pens. They are 0.28mm and they work great for my planner and calendar. I picked these up at  www.Tokyopenshop.com. They seem to get in pens and pencils in you just can not find anywhere else. Add them to your collection and visit their site.

The Beatles

 Acme pens have a whole series of Beatles pens. Last count there are some twenty seven different pens plus the sets of four and the business card holders. I have a few of the single pens from different years. Here we have one of the set of four pens.

 Once you take the cardboard sleeve off you have a wooden box that holds the four pens.

There is one pen for Paul, George, John and Ringo. Their picture is on the side of each pen. Each pen has a different grip with one being a roller ball, ball point, fountain pen and fine liner. Add them to your collection.
