More Pentel P200s
We had some visitors come down from Dallas this past weekend and had a very good time. It is always great when you can talk with collectors who appreciate Pentel Pencils. The first eight came from www.info@artwareshop.ch in Zurich. I love the fluorescent yellow, green, orange and the pink.
The next four come out much better in this photo with the vertical lines highlighting both barrel and the grip. These colors work very well on one of the worlds best drafting and writing pencil. I am going to use some of these in the daily rotation.
The next one is the Pentel P217. Long time ago I had some of these and gave them all away. Not this time. Last pencil a white 0.3 Stein. Great looking pencil. I want to thank Jimmy and Rhonda for a very delightful day of talking stationary. Rhonda made a blog post of their visit that you can see at www.rhondaeudaly.com. If you can add all these great pencils to your collection do so.

Papermate Flair Pens
Here is a bunch of old Papermate Flair Pens. I checked all the pens and none of them work. I can however get the refillable Flair bottom left working by using a Acme or Foray roller ball refill with about 3/4" of an old metal refill pushed into the back end. They work fine and you will be bring a old Papermate back to life. All these Flairs are from the late 60s and early 70s. Disposable Flairs were first make in 1966.
Most of the time we look at the front of the package with very little regard for the back where the instructions and information is listed.
Its fun to read these old backs to see what was happening at that time in pen history and how the company was promoting their pens. Add them all to your collection.

Pentel P300 Set
While the pencil does work the key here is the roller. This pen uses the The Pentel RMJ8 refill or as it is called the jumbo refill. I havs bought so many of these just to have the ball break or no ink left. I found a few that work so I pulled the matching pencil out and put them in the daily rotation.
Here is the RMJ8 refill. Have any for sale let me know. Pentel does not make the Jumbo anymore. Add these great pens and pencils to your collection.

New Lamy Al-Star Pacific Blue Roller Ball
This is a great new color for the Lamy Al-Star. Pacific Blue they call it. It writes just like all the Lamy roller ball pens do but I would guess that many of you will be buying the fountain pen not the roller. I may do the same. The best deals on these pens seem to be at www.penchalet.com. That is where this pen came from.
All this Pacific Blue Lamy to your collection.

Sherpa Fountain Pen
I like my Sherpas and I use the heck out of my dog and cat pens. Now I find out that the Sherpa makes their own fountain pen insert. I have spent some time with this one and it works great. As you can see the Sherpa comes with a Sharpie and a Sherpa roller ball insert.
Here is a better picture of the fountain pen. Add one to your Sherpa collection.

Lindy UTRACTAPen
These are some of my favorite Lindy pens. As you can see it is a very long pen. 7" turns out to be my longest ball point yet it does fit in most shirt pockets. The pen on the right is a little fancier then the one in the package. The package states non-refillable but as you can see from the pen on the right they un-screw under the pocket clip. Package has a date of 1962.
I may just leave this one in the package till I need another one. Add these great Lindy pens to your collection.

New Pentel Tradio Colors
The Pentel Energel Tradio Liquid Gel Pens have been around for awhile but only in the white and black body colors. I have not been a big fan because I perfer the larger Tradio pens. They also can be set up to use the Energel refills. I also was not a big fan of the hard smooth plastic. The new colors have me using them again. I just like colors.
Blue, orange, green, purple and the yellow are very bright and are just fun to use. Energel refills are used in many of the Pentel pens. I have only found these on EBay. Get yourself a set of five and add them to your collection.
