Conklin Symetrik Rollerball

Originally introduced in 1929. Symetrik was the first stream-lined fountain pen design released by the Conklin Pen Co.  Info on this pen is from the Fahrney's summer 2012 catalog.

When capped this is a very long pen. Almost 7" long. It is however a very light pen so that being so long does not interfere with your writing.

Another angle of this great pen.

Star Wars

Cross has been given the OK to make Star Wars pens. There are three types at two levels. The three types are C3PO, Darth Vader, and the Storm Troopers. There are expensive pens in the $500.00 plus range and $40.00 in the low range. I have the C3PO $40.00 low range pen. I got this one because I wanted a good guy pen. The expensive pens are very nice and I wish I could have a nice roller ball by Cross but here is what I have. These are clic rollers and are new only because for as long as we have been using Cross you would twist the pen to get the point out. Then some years back they cam out with this type where you just clic the top to make the point come out. Add all these great Cross pens to your collection.

Scripto T220 Demonstrator

I have always been a big fan of the Scripto T220 ball point pen but I have never had a demonstrator. This one was made for Snap On Tools and was in fact a metal etcher not a ink refill. I replaced the etcher with a Fisher 4 N 1 refill and away we go.

I like to match up the T220 ball point with the Scripto P360 pencil. All my pairings are above. The blue, gray, orange and red T220s are matched with a P360 pencil. I will be posting my scripto collection again very soon. Plenty of new collectors out there. Add all these Scriptos to your collection.

Some of the Best

Here we have the newest addition to the collection. A Pentel PG 2003. This pencil along with the PG 1505 are considered some of the best around. I just started to use the 0.3mm pencils thanks to "The Old Geezer".

Here we start on the left with my Pentel PG 1505, Pentel PSD5 Double Push. Next is the Pentel PD 505 Side Clicker then the Pilot H3005 Vanishing Point and the Faber-Castell TK-matic Mechanical Pencil. Last is the A.W. Faber Castell 9800SG 2mm Pencil.
I am not a person who uses a drafting pencil for drafting. General writing only. My pick for the best in my collection is the PG 505 side clicker.  Side clickers are a great general writing pencil. They are also highly collectible. To think Pentel would in later years put a rubber grip on those pencils is a small crime. This aluminum pencil has everything you could need in a pencil and is plenty rare. Thanks Germ.
There are other great pencils out there and I will be posting some other great pencils that do not cost  you a months pay. So go out there and add all these great pencils to your collection.

Zebra Tect 2way Pencil

I like the clear colors in these Zebra Tect 2way pencils but I was missing the pink and the orange color. So now I have a 0.3mm Tect 2way in pink, a green 0.5mm and two 0.7mm Tect 2ways in blue and orange. These pencils are also shakers but do have the lock so you can turn that function off or on.  Add all these great pencils to your collection.

Green From JetPens

Working on some new posts so I just put together some green pens and pencils. To be fair they did not all come from JetPens. Of the nine six came from JetPens. Add them all to your collection.

Pentel Kirari Pencil

I was thinking that getting all the new Pentel P207 and P209 pencils would end this chapter but them I find matching pens to go with the Kirari P209 pencils. We will start on the right with the five new Pentel P207 pencils from Target. As far as I can find there are five in the set and they do not have matching pens. Then back to the left with the three new Pentel Kirari P209s from www.tokyopenshop.com . I just found this web site by accident and placed a order the same day. What I found besides the two Pentel P209s that I was missing was that there is a matching pen to go with each of the pencils. I am missing the cherry pink colored pen and hope to get is soon. The new pens are the Pentel KL307 and they use the Pentel EnerGel refill. These pens have a nice rubber grip and write just just fine. I could only find the name Kirari associated with the P209s and not the P207s from Target. There are however erasers and three different brush pens in the Kirari line. Add all these great pens and pencils to your collection and don't forget to visit the Tokyo Pen Shop.

Lamy RollerBall Pens

While most people go for the fountain pens by Lamy I have always gone with the rollerballs. I do have three fountain pens and I do have ink in all three but I always make sure there is a rollerball in the daily rotation. The refills by Lamy are always smooth and last more then most. I have a few that are loaded with Chinese refills but the original works the best. Add all these rollerball pens to your collection.
